Despite a 2-0 loss to the reign of the champions in South Africa, the Black Queens coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren was amazed at the performance and is optimistic about the remainder of the 2024 African Nations Cup (Wafcon).

“We have played against previous champions. So perhaps the potential, the hardest game you can play on this tournament.

“I think we’ve done a lot, a lot of good things. If we get good things with us in the other two, then I’m very sure we will do play -off and that is the most important.”

Black queens will reorganize and turn into action against mountain Thursday before they face TANZANIA Three days later.
