Botafogo has appointed Davide Ancelotti, the son of Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti, as their new manager reported, the Brazilian club announced Tuesday.

35-year-old Ancelotti, who served as his father’s assistant in Bayern Munich, Naples, Everton and finally Madrid truehas signed a one -year contract with Botafogo. Ancelotti was left true at the end of last season along with his father.

Manager Botafogo dismissed Renato Paiva last week after their World Cup release, despite Paiva instructed the team for a win over the Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain Earlier in the competition.
