Bos, the son of a Dutch immigrant, grew up a fan of Feyenoord and calls him “unbelievable” that he is now a Feyenoord player. “As a kid, besides the summer holidays in the Netherlands, I didn’t see much from the country, but I’ve worn that countless shirt at times.

“So you can say that I grew up partly with Feyenoord. It was always far away, literally and figurative. The fact that I’m here now and a player is, of course, incredible in this regard. I know how de kuip can be, and now I try it as a player. Wonderful.”

Bos becomes the seventh Summer Signature for Feyenoord, who also signed Sem Steijn, Luciano Valente, Casper Tedstedt, Goncalo Borges, Tsuyoshi Watanabe and Gaoussou Diarra.
