MotoGP: Jorge Martin was discharged from the hospital after suffering lungs collapsed in Qatar’s collision

World champion MotoGP Jorge Martin has been fired from the hospital after suffering a collapsed lung and numerous rib fractures in a clam in Qatar’s Grand Prix last weekend, his team Aprilia said on Sunday.

The Spaniard went down to the 11th turn under the lights in the International Lusail District and he was hit in the back from the VR46 Racing’s bicycle Fabio di Giannantonio.

Martin He was competing on his first weekend of the Grand Prix after losing three rounds of opening after a collision in the pre-season test that shattered his leg and hand.

“Jorge has been dismissed from Hamad’s General Hospital and will remain in Qatar for a few more days until his medical condition stabilizes,” Aprilia said in a statement.

“Once his condition allows, an assisted flight will be organized to return to Europe.”

The next round of the MotoGP season is in Spain next weekend.
