Ajax confirm the transfer of Joeri Heerkens from Sparta Prague: ‘Ready to meet dreams’
Ajax has confirmed the transfer of the U19 U19 U19 International and former Sparta goalkeeper Prague Joeri Heerkens.
19-year-old Heerkens She has signed a five-year contract in Amsterdam, where she is expected to become the first goalkeeper in the coming seasons.

We believe he can develop very well in Ajax and we are sure, in time, he can grow in the role of the first choice goalkeeper.”
Heerkens confirmed his departure from Sparta Prague and Republic Czecheke in Instagram Earlier on Monday.

The Dutch Youth of the Dutch Youth of Czecheke joined Sparta Prague in 2021 after playing for Tj Slovan Brumov, FK Nachod and FC Hradec Kralove in his youth career. Heerkens represented the Czecheke Republic at the youth level until 2023, when he passed to the Netherlands and joined their U18 team. Last summer, Heerkens played every minute of the European Championship under 19, which he won with the Netherlands after defeating Spain 1-0 in the final.
