Coaches want to change the structure in Denmark Super League
Numerous Danish coaches call on Danish Superliga to restructure and possibly return to the structure that was established before the new structure was launched ten years ago.
10 years ago, one of the most significant decisions in the Super League history, when all teams met from each other three times, and instead, from the 2016/17 season, a new structure would be divided into playing the championship and relegation.
Superliga is not unique to the divided league. The upper league in countries such as Scotland, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic have a similar system, while Belgium decided to return to the old structure after severe critics.
Different structures were difficult in Denmark, especially from Silkeborg Missed on the playoff of the championship through a goal difference in close competition with Brondby.

Brondby Coach Frederik Brik also favors the old system:
“I’m not a big fan (current system). I think I’m honest. There’s something wrong with the fact that we were in such a close competition with Silkeborg, and we suddenly had a luxury competition for something that is much more fun from Silkeborg”, says Birk to TV2 sports.
Also Silkeborg Coach Kent Nielsen wants to see the current system abolished even through the commercial advantages of the current system that according to the former Danish international intensifies in the title race:
“In many areas I am romantic. You should always focus on what is fair in sports. And it’s always playing it. This year we came to the Seventh, and last year we came to the sixth, and my opinion has not changed.”
Four rounds remain in the current league where FC Copenhagen Top table one point in front FC Midtjylland. Aab Duck Vejle They are currently locked in the relegation zone.
