Enzo Barrenechea presented as Benfica’s new signature after the Aston Villa loan movement

Benfica officially announced this Friday the signature of Argentine midfielder Enzo Barnechea, who belonged to Aston Villa and was loan in Valencia last season.

Barnechea reaches out with villafor a fee of three million euros. However, there is a 12m -euro purchase clause, which will be driven at the end of the season, in June 2026.

After that, the player is expected to sign a valid contract for five seasons, as reported by Flurry.

Aston Villa will also have the right to receive a 30% portion of the value of any capital profit made in a future transfer of the player, captured at a maximum of 10m euros.
