Bayern Munich player Jamal Musiala faces a “long period” on the borders as he suffered a broken fibula and ankle shift to the club’s World Cup, German champions said on Sunday.

The German 22-year-old of the Germany was injured in a challenge with Paris Saint-Germain concierge Gianluigi donnarumma HOW Bayern lost 2-0 in the quarterfinals in Atlanta on Saturday.

Coach Vincent Company was angry at the injury, but called him an “accident”. Bayern Neuer manuel criticized Donnarumma though to be “reckless”.

“Moreover, there is also a huge human influence and we all feel about it: Jamal has just returned from an injury and will now be out for another long period. He will take everything he needs from us.

“We will support him intensely. We will be with him and we are looking forward to when he returns to the field.”

According to German media, Musiala is expected to lose four to five months and may return just before the end of the year.

“It’s a situation when you don’t have to go so; it’s reckless,” Neuer said after the match. “He acknowledges the risk of injury to his opponent.”
