Justin Thomas three clear in RBC Heritage After the Sensation Opening round, Justin Rose in 10
Justin Thomas fired a sensational 10-nin-par 61 to open a three-stroke lead after the first round of the RBC Tour RBC in Hilton Head in South Carolina on Thursday.
The two-year-old champion twice attracted 11 birds with just a noise in Harbour Town golf links to make a dream start at the $ 20m signature event.
ThomaWho ended up in 36th place in last weekend masters, rejoiced on the narrow roads and strong conditions of the course of connections.
“I just played really solid,” Thomas said. “I feel like I did nothing crazy; just put the ball well and put the ball in a place I had a lot of good numbers.
“I didn’t play well last week. Put some really good jobs to lead first today and I felt prepared – it was just to go out and do it, and it was nice to do it.”

“I felt like comparing my four rounds last week with today, today would be a much less stressful round of golf in the clash for a par,” Said Scheffler.
“Many of the things I had to do last week I felt like I didn’t have to do today to shoot a good result … I was in position most of the day today.”

“I’ve been waiting in a good golf,” Harman said after his 66s. “I have played much better than I scored, so I will simply try the advantage of a good shape and see what I can do from it.”
Another Englishman, Justin Roseis in a group of 11 players connected to the 10th in four under. Rose, who lost to Mcilroy in an exciting Play off final at masters on Saturday, closed with back-back birds in the 17th and 18th holes to stay in touch.
