Kosovar Asllani of Sweden probably before England clash at Euro 2025
Kosovar Asllani said on Wednesday that Sweden should receive more attention to their Euro 2025 shows while the Scandinavians prepare for a quarter -finals of the Bloc against England.
Spain, France AND England have dominated the titles in Switzerland but Sweden included in the last eight with three powerful shows, including a stroke of GermanyOn their way to win group C with a perfect nine point.
“I feel like Sweden is always flying under the radar, I would say,” Attack midfielder Asllani told reporters.
“And it’s something that suits us because we definitely think we are one of the best teams in the world because of the results we’ve done in recent years.
“But people rarely talk about us as someone who can win gold.
“We know we can beat every team in the world when we have our best day. We don’t think much about it, but I think people have to talk more about us.”
Sweden gets Englandwho ended second in Group D, in Zurich on Thursday, with still fresh memories of a 4-0 loss to Lionesses in the last euro three years ago.
But Asllani said she and her teammates are focusing on the last two draws with European royal champions as they shoot a great honor since winning the first euro road in 1984.
“We have tremendous belief in each other and the whole team. We play very intense and physical football, and since (coach) Peter (Gerhardsson) took over, that has developed,” Allan added.
“We have developed extremely in recent years. We have players in big clubs, and then you came here and you unite them all together. We are a very hungry team and want success.”
She said she believed the tournament begins diligently with the quarter -finals.
“It feels like a tour is really going when the group stage is over. We have experience in these kinds of matches, and the fun type of start now … when testing your measurement against the best teams.”
