Laliga have at least five teams in the UEFA 2025/26 Champions League

Spain’s Laliga will be represented by at least five teams in the Champions League next season after Italy’s Lazio was eliminated by the Europa League on Thursday, while Athletic Club progressed in the semifinals.

Laliga won the latter from the two European performance points distributed by UEFA, which go to the associations “with the best collective performance from their clubs” in UEFA competitions.

The Premier League of England was the first to provide an extra bed in Europe’s highest competition, top four given for the top four teams on the interior table.
