Johann Zarco became the first French in 71. years to win on the French Grand Prix, after the decision of LCR Honda Japoč to start wet tires that took a nice time in front of selling more than 120,000 fans in Le Mans.
In a chaotic race where drivers mixed bicycles several times due to rain, Zarco won a huge margin of almost 20 seconds in front of the ducati Marc Marquez While Fermin Aldeguer Gresini Racing came to the third for his first motomp podium.
ZARCO was 17. in a circle one when he quickly avoided the collision and lost places as he went off the trail. But as confusion and chaos rule in the rain, the Frenchman slowly passed through the grid before taking over lead and never looked back.
ZARCO is the first Frenchman who won the iconic circle since Pierre Monneret in 1954 celebrated the leading back in front of the Grand as the fans sing.
Local fans hoped to see another French, Polesitter and 2021. World Champion Fabio Cudgarara, potentially win the pole position, but it was a Veteran Honda rider who gave them a reason for celebration.

“It’s hard to believe, I still don’t understand what’s going on” Zarco said.
“Last circles, they were quite a long time. I think I need a little time, but it’s just magic because we had to control the rain tires at the beginning.”
Rain and red flag
The race was initially marked when each rider entered the ditches after heating for bike replacement, with all of them with dry tires after the dampers stabbed and fell into greasy conditions.
But after replacing bicycles, a few drivers returned in the visible circle to rejoin the machines while the rain was killed, risking a double-wing penalty, not in the race on wet tires on the drying trail.
Saturday Winner Sprint Marquez took the lead before Quarararo regained the first place and shot in advance to expand the gap while the Spaniards took a few seconds with his brother Alex.
Behind them, Francesco Bagnaia He crashed at the tribune, along with Joan Peace, who withdrew from the race.
Any hope in Quarararo is winning the race when collapsing in the end corner of four, because Groans echoed around Grandstand, leaving the Marquez brothers to be blinded.
But both Marc and Alex have entered the pits again to replace bicycles for wet tires – leaving Zarco, who started on damp tires, with a commanding lead.
‘Crazy race’

“But Johan was faster today … I shoved two rounds, I saw it was faster, even increased the distance. So then I just tried to control (his tempo).”
With eight laps he left, Zarc’s team called him to calm down and be careful at his pace. At the stalls, fans were smiles despite the rain as the anxiables were seen praying for a 34-year busy flag.
While the rain became heavier, Alex collapsed from the third place when he lost control of the tribune, allowing KTM’s Pedro Acosta to move to the plant stand before Aldeguer took third place.
“I didn’t know if we could fight today because I don’t have much experience in wet conditions”, “ Aldeguer sad.
“But in the end, with more rounds I started to feel better and had an incredible pace. So happy, my first podium.”
