Premier League: Eddie Howe admits that Newcastle damaged by injury has work to finish against arsenal
Newcastle United Eddie Howe’s boss admits that his team is on its borders in the last weeks of the season.
Newcastle TURN Arsenal Sunday There is still a need for a win to be sure to keep their place in the Champions League. Toni will be in third places in third place, with the first five qualifying for the elite competition.
Howe said Friday morning: “We are easy. January played a role in it while we lost two players from the team. I think we’ve done really well this season to manage a small team.
“I think our record of damage this season has been very good partially. We have managed to keep most of the appropriate players.
“You will always get one or two injuries, but yes, I think we are in position with our team, where if you get, and sometimes that can happen, a direction of damage and it may seem very quickly, so the fingers can save our strength to the end.”
Unfortunate Botman was injured again
These injuries include defender Sven Botman, who has suffered a new knee injury. However, Howe insists it was not another ACL.
He also said: “No, no, it’s not the case at all. We don’t think it’s a serious one.
“I think I can realize from him that he is frustrated. I have been there in most of the second half of my career, where you are getting frustration, things are coming to you and you cannot necessarily control them.
“This is the nature of the sport. Sometimes you will have an idea where an injury comes from, sometimes he will simply come out of blue and there is nothing you can do about it.
“I think Sven has really been unfortunate for the last two cases. There is absolutely nothing you can do, it’s part of his profession.
“He is brave, he is a whole -hearted player, whom he must be in his position, and of course you will come to the wrong side of those challenges sometimes and most importantly, there is no long -term damage.
“Because he is such an important player for us, you’ve always seen he is played this season, the contribution he has made to the team.”
Champions League qualification has not yet been done
Going to Arsenal, Howe says Newcastle recognizes their champions league push has not yet settled.
He stated: “It’s not done yet. Photography can change the game in the game and I think we should be really focused on our next game and try to win it.
“We have been, our preparation has been good and the concentration is there by players. Nothing is achieved until it is achieved. We must be single in mind and not distracting.
“We have to be really focused on our next game and try to win it, what we will do and we have done this week, I think the preparation has been good, the focus was on the players.
“I think the outer noise will always swing by the way you did and is positive – but nothing is achieved until it is reached, so we must be really single -minded in it and not distracting.”
