Scotland Center Tom Jordan and loose forward Jamie Ritchie is excluded from his test against Samoe on Friday after suffering injuries in Fiji last weekend, said Scottish Rugby Monday.

Jordan played a whole match in spite of what he held a broken arm during 29-14 defeat in dryWhile the former Ritchie captain hurt his foot and was replaced at 21. minutes.

Confirmation of their unavailability came after a conversation of three Scottish players as an injury cover for British and Irish lions.

Rory Sutherland, Ewan Ashman and Darcy Graham will strengthen the Squad for Lions Match against First Peoples-Pasifi Team 22. July in Melbourne.

It comes between the first and second tests against Australia and allows the lions of coach Andy Farrell to rest all the players who will be involved in the test.

Winger Graham joined the lions Monday, two days after receiving two yellow cards and left Scotland a man down for the last part of their loss on Fiji.

Loosehead Prop Sutherland, who played in two tests in the last lions of the tour in South Africa, will remain with the Scottish camp to his test against Samo, who plays in Auckland, New Zealand.
