San Diego Padres provide updating after the scary injury of Luis Arraez against Houston Astros
Slugger San Diego Padres Luis Arraez was in stable condition after lying on the field and was taken to hospital on Sunday after a scary first base clash in a game in Houston, Baseball team said.
“Luis Arceerz was transported to Houston Methodist Hospital for further evaluation“ Parents said in a statement. “He is currently consistent, conscious, responsible and capable of moving his extremities“
Arraez was taken from the field with his head immobilized in a closet after the incident in Second game of game.
Designated Hitter had tried a sacrifice sacrifice which was camped on the right side of the Infield by Astr First Christian Walker.
Houston’s second basin, Mauricio Dubon, was running straight to take Walker’s shot at the base and collided with nuts. He seemed to inadvertently grab the Arraz beard with his elbow.
The game was delayed for 11 minutes after Arraz was prone to medical staff and placed on a table. He gave a “thumb” sign as he left.
“That was very scary“Padre manager Mike Shildt said about Sunday ESPN Broadball broadcasting.”We don’t see those kinds of clashes in our sport too“
Arraez is in his second season with Padres, as he traded in San Diego by Miami Marlins last year.
He has three jogging at home and seven runs so far this season.
He is the first MLB player to win three direct titles with three different teams – in 2022 with Minnesota, Miami in 2023 and Padres last year.
