Serie A: Antonio Conte admits that the Champions League qualification is Napoli’s concentration with Inter by leaving away
Napoli may be three points away from Inter Milan leaders in the Serie A title race, but the first priority of the club is the qualification for the Champions League that lost last season, manager Antonio Conte said on Friday.
Napleswho were crowned the champions for the first time in 33 years in the 2022-23 season, ended a 10th last year’s disappointment, making the club hire shire who has overseen a renaissance in Naples to make them contenders again for the title.
With six remaining matches, Scudetto could go the same way and Conte called on Napoli’s fans to “continue to dream” of another title, but not before securing their return to the European Prime Minister’s competition.
“First of all, we must win a place in the Champions League. Beyond all the other, we will have the opportunity to approach a prestigious purpose that could not be foreseen at the beginning of the year,” Conte told reporters before Saturday description to Monza.
“But we’ve said it. We’re there, we will clearly try to make as much trouble as possible to the end … We are doing something that exceeds expectations given what happened last year.
“We must continue to nourish it (our dream) with all our strength … It has not been easy so far and there will be other obstacles to overcome. We will have to be as good as we have been so far, without excuses.”

Napoli has not won on the road since January – a five -match execution that includes four draws and a 2-1 loss in like.
“These are irrefutable facts, then the fact is that we are second, three points behind intercept. Even if we haven’t won for a while, we haven’t lost for a long time – only in Como, ” Said Conte.
“We have a lot of points and we are second, the result of sustainability at home and far. Then we can probably share the periods, but the regularity is there and only in this way can we achieve the set objectives.
“We don’t win away from home and we would like to start win again, this is always our goal.”
