The return of Como 1907 to Serie A after a 21-year absence has been a terrible success. Manager Cesc Fabregas has led them in security with four games to save, and the impressive way in which the former Arsenal and Barcelona player assured that survival is excited about the future.

However, the story of this successful return to Serie A has not always been so calm, and must be shown from the beginning.

Challenging Como Start in Serie A Life

With Fabregas decided to stay in Como despite interest from some big clubs in Italy and outside, the new coach can build this season in the 2025/26 campaign.

Therefore, if Fabregas can continue to build a team with the right balance of youth, hunger and experience, then good things will continue to happen.

Everyone to play out, Como fans – who waited for two decades to see their side again in the high division of Italian football – can enjoy at least one more season of their club playing against some of the best players in the world.

And more than anyone else, they have Fabregas to thank for this – the Spanish master is showing signs that he can become a coach as good as he was a player.

If he reaches close to his play days, he will become one of the best coaches in the world. And, though it seems unlikely that Como still has Fabregas for his years of training, they seem determined to enjoy his football for another season at least.

Everything that happens in the long run, Fabregas will always be the man who gave Como something to believe again after helping them to create them with an exciting opportunity.
