Van dijk ‘gutted’ with exit from Alexander-Arnold but says it will not ruin Liverpool’s celebrations

Virgil Van Dijk said Liverpool players were “brave” to learn Trent Alexander-Arnold’s decision to leave the club, but does not believe that his close departure will overshadow their Premier League title celebrations.

Van Dijk said the players, who ended up a 20th title of Top-Future in English at the end of last month, were determined to celebrate in style, with Alexander-Arnold in her heart.

“We want to win two more matches and after the last whistle, including that (Alexander-Arnold), raise the trophy up and celebrate as we have never done before,” said the international Netherlands.

When asked if the coming out of England’s defender’s approach could shadow the celebrations, he said: “I don’t think so. There shouldn’t. There are many more players who also deserve an amazing day.”

Van dijk and Mohamed is wrong The two signed new two-year contracts last month, but Skiper said situations could not be compared.

“Everyone share different opinions and he feels like he has done it all, and he did it, and he wants to try something different,” He said.
