Veronika Kuddermeva and Elise Mertens win the Women’s Women’s Double title
Eighty seeds Veronika Kuddermeva and Elise Mertens fought again by a group to win their first Grand Slam as a pair, beating Hsihu Su-Wei and Jelena Ostapenko 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 in Wimbledon Women’s Double End on Sunday.

Hsih, who has won seven Double Degree Diplomas including four Wimbledon titles, won an extended exchange with Kuddermeva from the beginning to take the first third set of set earlier Ostrapenko kept without losing a point to go 4-2 up.
But the wrong returns by Hsihih hit the net while the eighth seeds broke down, and Kuderimova was held to go 5-4 before Ostapenko went too long to lose a 26-driver rally and bring the match point.
